This collection contains video recordings of live performances at Dorothy over a four month period in 2024. The Living Archive Project documents events according to volunteer capacity at the time and is not a comprehensive record of every show hosted at Dorothy.

Biographical / Historical

This monthly experience features a live jazz cuddle hour, incredible queer performances and a DJ set to end the night. INTIMACY is a new experience led by BOSS and Switch the Boi Wonder at Dorothy!

Doors at 6pm and our live jazz cuddle hour kicks off at 7pm. Be there by 8pm to catch our live performances centering drag but including poetry, live music, dance and more. These thoughtful, close-up performances unpack various themes of intimacy and provide an introspective exploration for the audience.

Stay for a set by DJ Jaxx from 9:30-11pm.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door!

Dorothy is CASHLESS - please bring cash to tip performers! 10% of all tips will go directly to purchasing e-sims for Palestinians in Gaza.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black doors on Campbell Ave and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799.
