Biographical / Historical

Glitterus Comedy is a woman run stand-up comedy show that promotes the best women and LGBTQ+ comedians in Chicago. Glitterus Comedy is Chicago’s most fearless, unapologetically feminine, queer-focused stand-up showcase. Glitterus’ four comedy veteran producers, Sam Selby, Grace Kilpatrick, Georgia Moore, and Gwen Rose, all are some of the most in-demand talent in the Chicago Comedy scene. They curated every femme-forward line with the audience in mind, even if the occasional man slips in. These women are flipping the script on Chicago comedy and giving other women in comedy a home.

Don't miss the Glitterus debut at Dorothy on September 5th! Doors at 6pm and our showcase kicks off at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the show until 11pm with late night happy hour from 10-11pm.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black doors on Campbell Ave and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799

Please note: refund requests are only accepted until 24h before the show (9/4, 7pm). No other refund requests will be honored.
