Biographical / Historical
Also known as the Frank M. Rodde Fund, previously known as The Tavern Guild in 1977, “the Rodde Center provides an environment that promotes the well-being of the gay and lesbian community, by maintaining buildings used by numerous groups that offer social, physical, emotional, cultural, and legal services. The Center hopes to create a stronger bond of community among lesbians and gay men by offering informational programs and materials, and by sponsoring social and cultural events” (from accession form and pamphlet from The Rodde Center explaining mission).
