Scope and Contents

The collection includes two sets of 3⁄4 videotape materials. The first set, housed in black cases, contains raw footage, interviews, and stock footage of the construction and display of the NAMES Project Quilt at Navy Pier that was used for the 1990 documentary Memorial. The second set, housed in gray cases, consists of raw footage and interviews for a proposed documentary about the initial response to the AIDS crisis in Chicago.
